One person answers this phone, and not around the clock. If you get voicemail, leave your name, where the car is, and the make and year. You'll get a call back.
This is not a 24-hour emergency line. If a child or a pet is locked in the car, call 911.
Calling is free. The locksmith quotes the price before any work starts. Too high? Say no.
Where the calls come from
Downtown & Nicollet Mall
Keys locked in the car in a parking ramp on 7th, or a fob dead after the game lets out — downtown lockouts mean ramps, meters, and tow clocks. Tell us which ramp and which level; it's the first thing the locksmith will ask.
Uptown
Street parking around Hennepin and Lagoon and the Chain of Lakes — lockouts here are mostly curbside. In a snow emergency, call before the plow does.
South Minneapolis
Driveway and street lockouts from Powderhorn to Nokomis — plus the classic "started the car to warm it up and it locked itself" January special.
Everywhere between
Northeast, the North Loop, Longfellow, the U — if it's Minneapolis, call. Whether a locksmith can get to you depends on the day. If not, we'll tell you.
What gets handled
Lockouts
Keys inside, trunk lockouts, keys locked in a running car. Ask how they'll get in before they start.
Lost Keys
All keys gone — a mobile locksmith can cut and program a new key on-site for many makes. Ask about yours before you pay for a tow to the dealer.
Fobs & Chips
Fob programming, transponder keys, push-to-start smart keys. Get the locksmith's price, then compare it with the dealer's.
Broken Keys
Snapped in the door or ignition. Say which one when you call.
